The United States Flag, is there anywhere it is unknown?

The United States flag is one of thousands of flags from all over the world. Every country has a flag to identify it and represent it’s nation amongst the flags of the world. Countries take great care in the design of their flags and they usually evolve over time as a country grows. The United States flag is a flag that has definitely evolved to be what it is today. It has gone through many changes from its inception and most of these changes are documented relating to growth in the country and it’s number of states. The original designer of the flag is not known for sure but historians have some firm beliefs on whom it might have been.

The United States flag proudly displays a background of red and white stripes. The top left corner is a blue box that holds one star for each state of the union. The arrangement of the stars is in nine rows of stars staggered horizontally and eleven rows of stars staggered vertically. The flag has changed many times since 1777 when it was first flown.

Americans are very patriotic and treat their flag with the greatest respect. It is very common to find the United States flag flown on private property as well as on government buildings. No matter where it is, anywhere in the world, it is a well-recognized symbol of the United States. It is flown to represent freedom to the Americans but it is not always seen that way by other nations of the world.
